Further around we had magnificent views over the cliff. We could see so many crabs and land iguanas below along with an area of rock which would shoot the large waves up into the air like a 'blow hole'. All around birds were nesting eggs and some had fluffy chicks which we could get up really close to. We arrived to Espanola to lots of sea lions swimming around out dinghy, doing flips in the crystal clear water and popping their heads out. On the island there were 4 sea lions who had small pups with them, some as young as a week! They were all crying our for food and attention from their mums. There were so many marine iguanas sun bathing -they were completely blocking our path and we had to scramble across the rocks instead.

After a sneaky nap to warm up from the sea, we headed back to Floreana Island to the famous Post Office Bay. Set up many years ago by Europeans to leave information for other sailors and explorers, the mail box still stands today. Travellers who come here leave postcards, some to remain on Floreana and some addressed to family or themselves. Out from Floreana Island is an old volcano which created an elevated area in the sea but not high enough to form an actual island. Devils Crown is reportedly the best snorkelling spot on the Galápagos. We jumped off the dinghy with our tour guide and very soon after we saw a 2m long hammerhead shark swimming in the deep below us! Early morning we headed onto Floreana Island - there were loads of sea lions including many small pups between 3-5 months old. We saw once small pup wake up it's mum to feed on her. We then walked around to a huge lagoon where flamingos are often seen but they were elsewhere today. Then around to the next bay where we could see rays and turtles in the surf.
