We scrambled over the volcanic rocks of Isla Lobos - a tiny island full with sea lions and different birds nesting. We hopped off the dinghy initially to find the path blocked by a young sea lion who didn't want to move. We saw lots of blue footed boobies - one nesting on two eggs which he kindly showed us. Two further around were dancing around each other and calling out as part of their mating ritual. Lots of big frigate chicks could be seen in nests on the island too.
