We made our way back into town, braving the packed jolty city buses to get back to La Candelaria area. We went to Museo del Oro to check out their massive gold collection of 34,000 pieces including jewellery, decorative armour and even small gold containers for storing drugs. We then headed up the hill for the cable car which was just two bright orange cars which alternate up the steep mountain. From the top of Cerro de Monserrate the views over Bogota were breathtaking, along with being at 3,200m (the highest altitude so far).
