With only a week of my trip left, I'm happy to say I think I've turned the corner with this virus and will be back on form by the time I visit Auckland. Following a pleasant dinner last night with my Wellington driver, Craig I'm now writing this sitting in an outdoor bath, bathed in glorious sunshine, I should be so lucky! Enjoyed being super lazy today, sunbathing and a soak in the outdoor jacuzzi. The accomadation and location here is superb and John has been a great host, however I know how there is always something to do when you become a home owner, to quote Richard "knobs come off" and since I have been here: one of the sun loungers started splitting, one of my room ventilation panels is broken, as is the toilet light, one of the kitchen draws came off in my hand and I blocked the toilet! However that is more than compensated for by the snug electric blanket (!) , little bowl of choccies in my room and the super cute IR man in my room who looks like he should be in Thunderbirds (check my photo album). At the same time, felt a bit lonely today and my thoughts drifted to my nearest and dearest back home who I look forward to catching up with.
