Walking tour of Florence, some shopping, tonight a dinner in the Tuscan hills and the space electric disco! I will update this entry tomorrow! Tomorrow we head to Monte Carlo and Nice, with a stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Today was our free day in Rome, sunny and 35 degrees, it was far too hot. We started with a tour of the vatican city. Touring 3 museums and St Peters Basillica. All in all an amazing insight into the catholic world. The art collection and architecture was absolutely stunning, 3 hours was not nearly enough time. Next was a pizza lunch on the patio, followed by the roman forum. The forum was nice to see, but we arrive too late to get an audio tour. After ...

Today we arrived in Rome! A late arrival we had time to see the Panetheon, Trevy fountain, Santa Maria square, the national monument, and the sun set over the colosseum. Amazing! The highlight so far. Dinner with entertainment was included at a restaurant by the colosseum. Tonight a four star hotel. Tomorrow a free day to explore the Vatican and Rome!

Today was our one day in the city of canals, Venice. A crazy but exciting city. Getting lost is not just easy, its impossible not too. We arrived across the bridge to a line-up of the 5,000,000 tourists who visit Venice daily during the summer, and awaited our ferry to the island. The ferry ride was slow but offered great views. Once on the island a walking tour showed us the sites and talked about the history of this very important trading village. Next ...
