Well we made it to Thailand! After a long wait at Heathrow we boarded our plane and arrived in Bangkok 11 short hours later, feeling sleepy but excited. It didn't take long to get our bags and be met by Sylvie who took us to a nice air-conditioned car that drove us to our hotel. The hotel is gorgeous! It's right on the river and has free shuttle boats to the main river boat place every 15 minutes. There's a big swimming pool, lots of restaurants and even a helicopter pad (right outside our window!).
After eating out last night and having an early night, plus waking in the middle of the night feeling wide awake, we got up today and headed into Bangkok. We also met up with a friend of mine from home in a massive coincidence! Amy and her folks were at the hotel on holiday. Very stange! We got the boat with them into Bangkok, watching the sky get darker and darker, then we switched boats and carried on up the river, watching temples and river boats and fishermen all the way. We arrived at the Grand Palace stop, and just before the heavens opened we got a tuk-tuk around the 3 temples of the Buddha - one sitting, one standing, one lying. After this we were back at the Grand Palace, walked around int he heat and saw all the beautifully ornate temples and statues.
We walked down to see the last of the Buddhas, then back across a major highway (nearly dying every time we crossed the road) to a back-packer area where we have just eaten and drunk, and are now sat in the internet cafe! It's been a busy, hot and very interesting day! Going to sign off now, hope all is well back in England and Oz, speak soon!! Love Jo and Roy XxX

I think right now do to budget fatcors and Nik's black Friday sale ending I'm going to go with the Aperture plug-in and in the future upgrade to the photoshop version.
