Etihad you've won me. A great flight. Had a whole seating row to myself so I was able to stretch out. Arriving in London the weather is ok and from aero plane to hotel was a little over an hour. Not that I got a chance to actually make it to the hotel. I was ambushed by a few if the lads and dragged into the pub for a catchup.
The men all faded pretty quickly and they all looked knackered so I left the pub looking for food. Ended up getting a burger and fries from a hole in the wall up the road from the hotel. Won't be rushing back there.
So I'm up at 2am local time and sharing a room with one of the guys I haven't met yet ( but I will recognize his snoring pattern anywhere from now on ), so I am going to set off to find a laundromat and go for a wander. The lads all show up at about 11am today and apparently Neil has organized a bus to take us on a tour of "pubs close to things tourists want to see". Perfect!
