It's done. After 3 months I am headed home. I must say that it's a bit of a relief. I left Freiburg after I repaired the clutch lever and hit the autobahn at full speed and knocked off the 500 Kms in about three and a half hours. A final kick in the arse if you like. I checked into a hotel and spent the next few hours sorting out my stuff. The bike has been taken to my mates house in Bochum and I got a new duffel bag in Essen to put the contents of the panniers into. I tried to wash the bike but found nowhere to do this. I went to the travel agents to buy a ticket but there was nobody that could assist with the buying of the ticket. So five minutes on the Internet and the ticket was purchased. 700€ is not a bad price for a last minute purchase. I am sitting on the high speed train to Frankfurt and killing time writing what I think will be one of the last blogs before I get home and sleep for a week. The flight is a complete nightmare with a 12 hour stop in shanghai airport. I will try to get some sort of a hotel to get some sleep and a shower. Here's hoping its going to happen.
