Lake Mahinapua

The following morning we left for Lake Mahinapua, this is where the legendary Poo Party is held. We had been told what the theme for the night was prior to arrival, so we stopped at a town 45mins before our hostel and gathered bits and pieces for our masterpieces. We got to the hostel around 4pm and were met by the owner, Uncle Les. He's a 86 yr old man with a massive beard and a huge reputation for having good nights. Uncle Les cooked up a mean steak and veg which filled us to the brim. Ross Smith and Bradders then got changed into their Spartan outfits while Ross Matthews had a gimp suit made out of gaffa tape made for him by the other Ross J At around 8pm we headed to the bar thinking it would be kinder busy, but no, we were pretty much the only people in there lol. After dancing the night away we went back to the room to find Ross Smith passed out in someone else's room haha. That boy can't handle wine!

The next morning we all woke feeling worse for wear, but manned up and got on the bus to our next stop which was Franz Joseph Glacier.
