We are now in Sydney after a 4 hour flight from Perth. We had to spend a while looking for a hostel as it's peak season here but found a place called the Maze that lives up to it's name. Coral Bay was lovely. It was really hot and sunny and we spent the first day relaxing on the beach then jumping in the water as it was so hot. The snorkelling was good as the reef was really close to the shore. We got to play table tennis at the hostel and I got quite good although I still couldn't beat edd. Our first destination in Australia was Darwin. It's a really small city with not a lot to do in the town. So we decided to hire a 4x4 to visit the national parks in the area. We went to Kakadu park which was interesting but a lot of the roads were closed so we couldn't get to the good waterfalls.
