So basically on the way to Franz there isn't a massive amount going on so kiwi experience have set up a little deal with an ower of a pub on the way there, we get to hire out the whole lodge and he gets customers in his lodge in the middle of nowhere! Sooo Westport wasn't massively exciting, think the only reason the kiwi bus stops there is to give us a break with the driving to be honest! But our driver told us we needed to have a big old movie night because the following night would be a big one...(she was right!) On the drive on the way there, Stingray decided to make best friends with Lauren (driver) by sitting right at the front and providing entertainment for her by being DJ and managed to become driver...

After what felt like forever, we arrived at Kaiteriteri which is this massive national park and really stunning. We had switched kiwi drivers on the ferry so were now being driven around by a girl called Lauren who was really funny & A LOT more fun then the dude before (who was actually her boyfriend!) We arrived and were really pleased to see some of our other kiwi bus friends who had left a day earlier from Welly but had a boring bus so waited for us to cat...

After an amazingly relaxing and much needed night of the booze in River Valley we headed onto our lost stop in the South Island & the capital of New Zealand- Wellington. Our next stop was a place called River Valley which was gorgeous. It was pretty much in the middle of a valley in the middle of nowhere but had amazing scenery and a huge river in the centre of it. The lodge was really cosy and had such a homey feel to it as well.. just what we all needed after our epic night before.
