Franz Josef is AMAZINGGGG! As we were driving towards it, these amazing mountains just slowly started to appear and it was gorgeous. Like, you can't even explain how gorgeous it looks there. We stayed in another really nice little lodge and I was in a 4 bed dorm with Matt, Stacy and Stingray. The town of Franz Josef is really small- you could walk the entire length of it in about 5 minutes and thats not an exaggeration! Anyway, first day we got there we all booked up for our glacier hikes the following day and went back to the dorms and as we were extremely hungover and sleepy we decided it was the perfect time to do a team spoon- so Lauren, Ally and myself had an epic spooning snooze for about 2 hours before we got up, got freshened up and headed to the pub- NOT to drink! We went for dinner and bangers and mash was on the menu- I've never been so excited and it was so disappointing. Meh. Anyway, slowly everyone joined us and we sat around on sofas and big comfy chairs playing trivial pursuit until about 10 then I had to go to bed. About half hour later the other people in my room joined me and for some reason we stayed up for another hour sharing ghost stories- Not good for me.

Up bright and early the next morning to hit the glaciers. I've literally never done anything that comes close to the glacier hike. 8 hour hike for someone who rarely excercises turned out to be extremely interesting! The whole way up I was dying and wasn't really enjoying it, but then we hit all the caves and the blue ice and all the effort paid off. It was stunning. Once we were at the top we stopped for lunch and to just sit at look at what we were looking at was incredible. We were able to fill up our water bottles from the stream that was flowing down the glaicer because the water was that clean and pure, took lots of silly snaps before heading back off. On the way down we bumped into lots of the other groups and had a massive snowball fight! Not going to lie though, being down at the bottom and knowing I was doing no more up hill hiking was an amazing feeling!

Included with the price of our hike we had a voucher to go to the hot pool spa which was opposite our lodge so literally soon as we got home we got changed, grabbed our bikinis and towels (I DESPISE my travel towel by thw way- always damp!) Anyway.. The spas were just what we needed. 3 pool of different heat and there were about 20 of us in there just messing around and taking underwater photo snaps with someones camera. After 40 mins or so we got bored and decided to head back, freshen up and go to the pub for dinner. So Matt, Kate and me headed to the bar where we discovered Stingray and our driver already in there pissed as farts. (Sting did a helicopter ride so had been back since midday and had been drinking since with the driver, we arrived around 6pm so she'd got a lot down her by then!) A few practical jokes were played between couples who had hooked up which was rather amusing including a couple being picked out and having to do 'blowjob' shots in front of the group..very clear reason why! then we had our very own special fireworks night. basically driver lauren had bought a stupid amount of sparklers and fireworks and was planning to give us a little display.. she was smashed and stingray was her even more drunk assistant. we went outside onto the road and basically lauren and sting just handed out sparklers and just started letting off these fireworks..so dangerous, one nearly hit ally in the foot but it was hilarious and nobody got hurt! after that we all sat round a massive table and started playing loads of drinking games, i spent the majority of the night on stingrays lap before we headed back to the rooms, but sting wasn't happy just going to bed and she had discovered that the keys opened all the doors so started running into peoples dorms shouting 'its only a gameshowww its only a gameshowww' then running out. she got into rutsteins room and fell over while still shouting about gameshows and then she retuned the favour by climbing through our window and telling us to shut up!!

The next day was interesting...
