Well this is just a quick note to say that ive now arrive at my new location in Italy where ill be for 3 weeks. Im in a little town called Lenola about an hour from rome towards naples Its a 30km ride to the beach down hill all the way but im guessing the ride home is a bit tireing. Its going to be great riding around here though and im looking forward to that. Emma and I headed off from Offenburg about 10am yesterday and did most of the drive in the one day. We stayed above the city of Viterbo where Emma had some contacts. This morning I went out for a light roll around a local lake for about an hour. Had some climbs in the ride so it was all good. great to roll the legs over. Its very beautiful here and the women all seem to be in another class from the german ones. Problem is ive left Rammiswire where they only spoke german to come to Lenola where they only speak Italian. Its giong to be very interesting as Emma is headed off tomorrow to see Dave (her husbond) in Siciliy. So ill be alone till mid next week. I may head to Rome for the weekend and also take a day trip to Naples to see it all, just see how hard I want to train.
