Ok so Ill keep it a bit brief cos ive got 7mins left and then we are out of here and accross the French boarder in a matter of minutes. The tour was a bloody ball. Did heaps of great long rides with James and Emma and a few nasty hills too. We rode every morning and then ate for pretty much the rest of each day. Im now fat and strong. Lunches and dinners were 5 course and there was no shortage of alchole either. What a blast. Made a few great new friends, one of them being Rowena my female namesake. Never quite got used to hearing that name and it not being me. Some highlights were - Crazy trip in car with two 18year old waitresses down to a local town for breakfast at 2am in the morning. very crazy - Laying on the beach for hours and loving it. - Riding up bloody huge hills till we passed through the clouds - getting my ass kicked by james on every town sprint (b******) and then he had a ripper day on the hill time trial and beat me by a minute (double b******) Ok so now im off to France for a week of riding in the Alps and maybe racing the french national mtb titles next weekend. Then off to Switzerland before going to Hamburg germany to see my mate Simon. My Tour de France trip is off as Hamish has been sent to New York for work. Doh. well ill try to get some pics on soon
