Good morning,
It is now 09:30 Saturday morning having just had breakfast.
Yesterday we caught a bus / train to Central Stockholm then walked to the ferry terminal. I am not used to walking on the right and seeing cars with no drivers, they sit on the left as they drive on the opposite (wrong - lol) side of the road.
We caught a ferry across to Djurgården and walked up the cobbled street to the ABBA Museum, we explored the three levels, and I did a photo shoot of Chris & Rod recording Mamma Mia which we have now down loaded then I joined them for a recording of Dancing Queen.
We also have a video of Chris & Rod performing Mamma Mia with ABBA on stage. Numerous photos later then we visited the souvenir shop then a scrumptious lunch at their restaurant.
We caught a ferry back then visited the Royal Palace having a look at the Royal Jewels in the basement and sumptuous rooms upstairs - an amazing experience.
We explored the oldest part of Stockholm - Gamla Stan, a souvenir or two was purchased followed by a refreshing ale and cheese board at a pub sitting in the window seats people watching.
Time for the train back to our hotel, freshened up for dinner, dessert and a bottle of Rod's favorite red wine, Chateauneuf de Pape.
My feet were a little sore as walking on cobbled streets is different.
The sun does not set till about 22:00 and rises at 04:30 hence we closed the shutters then I closed my eyezzzzzz.
I still had a bit of jet lag from time to time but my excitement of this amazing adventure overcomes this.
We are off to Eurovision tonight which starts at 21:30 so we will pace ourselves today.
Cheers for now.
