Berlin is a beautiful city. I really did not know what to expect and was not disappointed by anything. The train from Hamburg was pleasant with usual European efficiency. Had a safe trip and arrived to a really 'Noice' apartment. It was so late needed to head for dinner. Day one of exploring we decided to take a hop on hop off bus tour to have a bit of a tour. The parks here are so green and lush. It's spring here like our winter in Sydney. Traveling this time of the year, their Spring, has been amazing. It would have been really amazing to see the winter here. It was amazing how much damage was made in the war here years ago....

Hamburg Central is a bustling old terminal on 2 levels, street level for country trains and the subway. The hour wait went quickly sipping a great bitter coffee. We have 3 seats together for the 2 hour train ride, passing through farms, green forests, quaint country towns, wind farms. I was very relaxed traveling as I have enjoyed train travel.
