Well I know it's been a few days since I posted a blog but we have had a few days of just travelling and resting.
We travelled through dinosaur country and went and saw a full size dinosaur skeleton in a museum in Hughenden which was really interesting. Apparently there have been lots of dinosaur bones found in this area.
We then drove on to Charters Towers and spent a couple of days there,it is a very old town with a lot of history attached to it.
Today we arrived in Townsville and we will be spending a few days here. We are hoping to go on the ferry across to Magnetic Island which should be fun.
The caravan park we are staying in is right next door to the RAAF Airforce base so we are seeing lots of planes and big chinook helicopters flying in.
