Sunday the 21st. . . .

Met up with Chrissie yesterday and we went to a pub to meet up with friends. . . There was about 7 of us in all. I met Pete and Erica, David and Andrea (I think the names are right?!?), oh and another girl, Cassie, rubbish with names, sorry!

We had a few drinks and a good laugh, they seem like really nice people, David is a German guy and he works for Bombardier (I am already making arrangements to speak to the HR director here in Melbourne about future opportunities). So David was coolio, we chatted about BT, etc and other stuff, including golf. . . . . So I have been invited out for a game in a week or so!

We then all got invited to a BBQ at an English guys place (Rob), very good friend of Benny’s. So after a trip to the off licence for some booze we headed over there. . . . I met a lot more people, so more Bombardier guys and had a good night. . . . Too much Red Bull though, as I couldn’t sleep all night when I got back!

So after a great night’s sleep (Not), I headed out to one of my favorite cafes, had some brekkie and checked my emails, etc, then took a nice walk along the front and out on to the pier. The weather is a lot cooler today and very windy, but more than pleasant. I then sat down and watched the semi and finals of the Women’s then Men’s beach volleyball. . . .

Was fun to watch for an hour or so. . . Then I found myself back here again in one of my favorite cafes (Fringe).

Really must go back now though and have a sleep. . . Feel knackered. . . ! It’s hard work doing nothing for a living! Ha ha. . . Sorry!

May go to the casino tonight, one of, if not the largest in the southern hemisphere. . . . Gonna have a flutter and if I am still awake the English footy is on at about 3 in the morning!
