Thursday 21st October Today the weather was not so great...we had been spoiled by the gorgeous sunshine so it was a shock to see rain.lol. But anyway we didn't let it ruin the day, instead we hired a car and had a drive to Bowen which was about an hour away. Tuesday 19th October We got picked up by a shuttle bus at 7.50am so it was another early start. The shuttle took us to Abel point Marina which is where lots of the boat tours start. The boat trip was fantastic it took us to a look out point where you had a great view over whitehaven beach. Saturday 16th October We got up early and the shuttle bus picked us up at 8am to take us to the airport. Unfortunately our flight was delayed from 10 am until 11.20am, but at least it gave us a chance to have breakfast! We flew from Sydney to Brisbane and then from Brisbane to the Whitsundays. Whitsunday airport was really small, the baggage claim involved you walking outside where there was no baggage carousel instead you took your bag off the back of the truck...
