Tuesday 5th October

We arrived in Sydney at 9am, by the time we got our luggage and transfer we arrived at Carol's (Rob's auntie) at 10.30am and were greeted by Carol, Doreen (Rob's uncle's sister) and Anthony (Rob's cousin). First things first we were offered a cup of PG Tips and digestive biscuits! Alleluia! It was so nice :) We then got showered and unpacked before heading to their local mall to have much needed haircuts :) Once home we relaxed and had fajitas for tea and then bed.

Wednesday 6th October

We had a lie in and then me, Rob, and Anthony went to the nearby Koala park which was great. We stroked the Koalas and fed the Kangaroo's which was fab and the boys took some very interesting pictures...lets just say it was mating season!

The weather was dry but not at all hot so in the afternoon which went to get a few warm pieces of clothing which was not so easy as it is Australia's spring so it is all Summer clothing in.

In the evening it was Steven's (Rob's cousin) birthday so we all went out for dinner to a steak house before heading back to Steven and Avril's house for cake and drinks which was really nice.

Thursday 7th October

Today we headed out to the city. Me, Rob, Carol, Doreen, and Anthony got the bus into Sydney and met Avril in town. The bus journey was lovely we went across harbour bridge and saw the Opera house. In the city Carol was a great tour guide and took us all to see the sites...harbour bridge, Opera house, The Rocks, and we took the ferry over to Darling harbour and had our dinner there. We then took the bus home and as we have a couple of hours spare we are writing this blog :)
