Woohoo long weekend! Boo, school starts Tuesday. Since I was finally able to get all my paperwork sorted, it now means I am employed! Getting ourselves ready for work means a trip to Adelaide- for real it did! The shopping was just an added bonus and the gelato was a must after inflicting pain and torture on Lucas. Firstly, we both had to complete a training in order to work in SA, so we got a hotel room and stayed in Adelaide. We've made it through week 1, found our way to Woolys and Coles (groceries), got a bank account, Rob of course got a bike which means I have driven- more than once even, although admittedly I may have found myself on the wrong side of the road once- oops. Almost time to make our way to our new home. Left Monkey Mia, and stopped in Geraldton for a night along the way. Left Kalbarri and headed for Monkey Mia. It was only about a 4 hour drive, but 4 hours through basically nothingness. Stopped in town of Billabong for gas, there was a sign saying population 8! We made it to Monkey Mia and ended up upgrading our room so we had a fridge (insulin) which was a good choice, great garden view room close to everything.
