13th - 15th April - Happy Birthday Flea.We took our first Australian dive, diving Busselton jetty, this is a 2k wooden peer that has a wonderful array of fish and plant life growing on the jetty pillars.Rich and Sue walked to the end of the peer and went down the underwater observatory. They saw us diving around and from the 'look out post' were able to enjoy the same marine life as us.We also walked the incredibly beautiful beach, and the boys managed to get a bit of spinning done from the shore late afternoon. We had a drive through the vine yards down to Margaret River, a very well known wine producing region in Australia. We had a few samples but all actually preferred the set up in the Swan Valley just outside Perth. We continued down the region and are currently staying at Pemberton.Today we visited the Karri Forest and have seen lots of trees, plant life, waterfalls etc.We stopped off at a cheese farm, all the cheese is made from sheeps milk, some really good stuff. As a bonus we arrived just as they were shearing the sheep, very interesting to watch Bruce at work. It is wonderful to see such diversity, no doubt we will continue to be amazed.Tomorrow we head further south on the coast to Albany and Middleton beach (my maiden name for those who don't know), then back up to Perth to leave for the red centre.I may not get chance to blog for a few days, but I'll catch you all up with our antics when possible.Hope everyone at home is well and not missing us too much.Love to you all xx
