17th Singapore - An early morning call (3.15am) to get us up and to the airport to leave at 7am. Left at 7.30 and this was the start of a 14 hour flight. Not much to do and as we were all very tired, we slept on and off, and watched movies or tv shows, and I even played a couple of games to amuse ourselves.
Landed at Charles de Gaule airport at 2.15pm, through border security (this was a slow process though they were only checking our passports - the officer was having a lovely conversation while we were waiting!) Out to the luggage area and there were Nick and Chelsea waiting for us - albeit on the other side of the glass. As per usual our luggage was the last to come (mine) and we left the airport for our accommodation. It was an interesting ride there - Jessica spied the Eiffel Tower first - though not as interesting as our taxi ride to Singapore airport that morning (the driver was hitting speeds of 120ks - he was obviously in a hurry).
Accommodation sorted we went for a walk to see the Eiffel Tower, took some snapshots and then found a nice restaurant for dinner.
Early night - we lasted with great difficulty to 8.30.
