Another big adventure today. We gathered with 50 other intrepid explorers for a bus trip to Glendalough and Kilkenny, with a very special treat in the middle at Wicklow. Glendalough is about an hours drive from Dublin and the sight of a monastic city founded by St Kevin in the 6th century. Mostly ruins there now though one intact building - the Priest's house. Green leprechauns everywhere - no not really, but there is plenty of the broad Irish brogue to listen to. And it sound quite pleasant. Today we explored Dublin. It was recommended that we visit Kilmainham Goal so we headed off on a tram ride in its direction.
