Monday 28 August 2006 - Auckland City Got dropped off very early at the Auckland Domain. About 2 hours to kill before the museum opened so did some exploring! Went to Parnell and had a walk around, then up to New Market stopping on Broadway finding Warehouse! (picking up more jumpers for 60p!! - Bargain!) Made it to the museum in time for the 11am Mauri Culture Show. Traditionally dressed in a piece of cloth. They put on a show of singing, dancing and playing with sticks, finishing of with the famous Haka! Spent a little time looking around the museum..... Rita learning all about WWI and WWII. Made our way over the Grafton Bridge to Queen Street, the main shopping area. Finding it very difficult to find a pub for some lunch! Eventually settling in an Irish bar.....
