Sunday 4 March 2007 - Australia Zoo Travelled from Noosa to Australia Zoo in time for opening. Spent the first part of the morning looking around Steve Irwins zoo seeing wambats, otters, skinks, iguanas, koalas, komodo dragons, aligators, leapords and snakes. Got to hold a koala bear and watched the wildlife show at the Crocoseum. Saw Terri and Bindi Irwin filming for a show as we walked around the zoo. Friday 2 March 2007 - Meeting Lynda On the move again, up to Brisbane. Met by Lynda (Ellie's great aunty Marg's friend) and her partner Tom who immediately took us to see some sights. Drove through the City and up towards Mt Cootha, a lookout over the City. Then to the University of Queensland and the new passenger only bridge. Back to Lynda's bungalow and sat outside with cheese, wine and olives. Then to dinner... prawns - a treat from Tom! Lots of wine ...
