The group headed to the eastern part of the island (near where we were last night) and spent the afternoon at El Yunque rainforest. We went to a tower that had a great view of the surrounding forest. Next was a hike though a section of the forest with an informative guide. What made it even more special was that it was raining for a good part of the hike. We all got soaked. Some of the kids even got to wade in one of the streams. We ended the tour by a huge waterfall. I was not with the kids for part of the tour, so I will post an album of the highlights of when our groups were together. We are now off to dinner with the Emerson Elementary immersion group.
