Last night we ate dinner at a Chinese place and met up with the Emerson Immersion school (Minneapolis) group that arrived yesterday. We then walked back to the hotel, swam, and went to bed. The group headed to the eastern part of the island (near where we were last night) and spent the afternoon at El Yunque rainforest. We went to a tower that had a great view of the surrounding forest. Next was a hike though a section of the forest with an informative guide. What made it even more special was that it was raining for a good part of the hike. We all got soaked. We had a free morning this morning. We let the boys sleep in a little, ate breakfast and took the 20 minute walk to the public beach with waves (see the photos in the new album). The boys, Jay, and I spent about 45 minutes in surf. We then headed back to the hotel and ate lunch and got ready to El Yunque rainforest.

We got back from the caves yesterday about 4:00PM and that gave the kids some time to swim. After swimming a group of us decided to take our kids and eat at Denny's. The group ended up consisting of 14 kids and 8 adults. It may shock you, but it did not go as smoothly as you would think. After staying up way too late watching the Blackhawks reach the Stanley Cup finals (the boys didn't, they were so tired they went right to bed), we had to get up early again for the 90 minute bus ride to the Cueva Clara (Clear Caver) at the Rio Camuy Cave Park.
