July 12th Stockholm, or The Case Of The Missing Suitcase The place we are staying in Stockholm is possibly the nicest place we have stayed when traveling. July 10. Visby Today we spent the day in Visby. It has been around for about 1000 years and, for a time, was one of the most important cities in Europe. Its location on the Baltic made it a major trading center and very rich. The wealth made it desirable by other nations so they put up a wall for protection that still stands today. July 9th. Copenhagen, Stockholm, Visby Happy 15th birthday to Luke. Lucky kid got to spend it on a train, a plane, a bus, and a ferry boat. Today was our travel day to the island of Gotland in the middle of the Baltic Sea. Our flight from Copenhagen to Stockholm went smooth.
