9:45am start after v.little sleep again - get Kiwi Bottom Bus to Invercargill - 300 miles plus away from Queenstown - and most southerly point in world (exc. Antartica!!). Noisest bus ever been in - mates still flying from night before - stop at liquor store for beers - crack them open at 10:30am on bus - apparently best way to cure hang-over?!?!? Fish and chip lunch at most southerly point followed by couple of pubs with rugby mates. Stop at local rugby club to get face paints - most of mates go to rugby bare chested with Highlander numbers and team colours painted on them - me, Joey & TCT think better off it as cold night and opt for face paint and team cape only. -Enjoyed rugby Highlanders hang on to win 16-14 - Sam wins first try scorer award! -Bus on way home is CHAOS - one mate Rod gets naked nxt to drivers seat - housey singing down bus microphone!! Half of bus pass out so don't make it out to town - Neal, Sam, TCT and I hit town still wearing capes and face paint - instant conversation starter - girls lovin it! Still out till 6am with 2 Californian's following bar crawl - Altitude, Buffalo, World, Tardis, Bar Up, Sub Culture, Winnies - bus at 7:45 so dont bother with bed !!! - two words - stamina & commitment!!!
