Whislt working in Shanghai I took some holiday time and went to Xian to see the Terractor Warriors.

I landed in at the Xian airport and meet some english lads who I went to a backpackers with. Xian itself is not that intersting and is extrmeley polluted, it is hard to see down the street when you step out of the backpackers. It does have an intersting medival castle wall suronding the city itself but apart from that there is not much on offer. If it was not for the terracator warriors I doubt many tourists would come to Xian.

We visited the warriors which took about an hour to see everything, the first dig site is the largest and is in a big bunker and has the majority of the warriors in. There are 2 other sites which are alot smaller and shows how they were digged out and restored. What is nice about the warriors is that they are all individually different and based apon the actual warriors at the time which makes it all the more intersting.
