Woke up, went to Walmart to do shopping. Went to the local pools for a swim and a shower. The first for 5 days.  Felt amazing after. Then went to a laundry mat to clean all our clothes. Here I think a filling fell out of my tooth. A lot of pain when I bite down. Going to have to find a dentist somewhere. Managed to get mum to sort out my cashpasport.  Then travelled up to Yellowstone National Park. Travelled through Idaho to Montana. Parked up and made another stir fry. Arrived quite late to Hodgdon Meadows.  Watched "If I stay". Very excited for the next couple of days.

Bit gloomy today. Drove to Mammoth hot springs. It took ages as lots of traffic and also Biason cross the road whenever they want. This stops traffic as they are massive. So slow we watched Pitch Perfect before we even got there. Mammoth Hot Springs were pretty cool, a bit like Rotorua. Managed to get in a small walk before it rained again. Headed back to West Yellowstone Village. Went to McDonalds to get food and WiFi. Spent ages here planning our trip. Then went to the campsite, had nachos then all went to bed early to read. Not as impressed with yellowstone as people said we would be. A lot of it actually just looks like pine trees. I think it's the animals that make it more interesting. Figured out today that we are staying in Montana and everyday when we enter the park we cross the border into Wyoming.

Headed south to the Old Faithful Geyser.  Stopped at the paintpot and black sand basin. Here we tried to walk as far as possible. Still only managed to do about it 600m all up. Seen many geysers and hot pools. Didn't actually make old faithful.  Made our sandwiches in the carpark. Talked to some Americans who had seen a couple of bears today. So we headed to where that was. On our bear hunt we went tower falls... we were so high there was still snow around. Walked down to the bottom of the waterfall where we actually seen yellowstone. Nice to do some walking. But didn't find any bears. Returned to McDonald's to use Internet.  Got snacks then returned to the campsite to have a stir fry and watch the movie "The Good Lie". Off to sleep nice and early.
