Hello, I'm almost up to date with the journal entries now! I am now in Florianopolis which is like a scaled down verson of Rio de Janeiro. Along with my three viking buddies, I rented an apartment in a place called Barra Da Lagoa. Its on an island which is supposed to be a surfers paradise - no sun now though! I have a double bedroom all to myself and a communal shower/kitchen/dining room which I share with the Danish boys. We waste the nights away playing texas hold 'em and getting pissed for peanuts. The apartment costs 6 pounds a night. One of the Danish boys is a chef so I am being fed well for another 6 pounds a night. We get drunk for 3 pounds a night! Life is cheap here and I have just watched Patrick's Juventus crumble at Highbury! Tomorrow, the Danish boys are off to Sao Paulo and I will head to Iguazu Falls.
