Hola Rich..!
Since I knew you where looking for some info about bolivian footballers and I´m also a football yunquie maybe I can help you with that..
For everybody who are about to read this message and knows about football, please take a notice that if you consider this bolivian´s players you might say they were good so probably this names wouldn´t sound familiar to you..
José Milton Melgar was a volante( I don´t know how to say it in English but is the same position that Gilberto Silva..) from the 80's and 90's. He is the only bolivian who played for both BOCA(85-88) and gallinas´team (or River Plate,88-89) so bolivians are really proud of him becouse of that.
-For the record BOCA didn´t won a single thing during those years so Milton I´m sorry we coulnd´t wait for you to come back home...-
Melgar was also part of the team who made it to the Worl Cup for the first time on 1994, during the classification round the bolivians beat Uruguay, Ecuador, Venezuela and... Brazil..!!!
Another player is Juan Manuel Peña, he was booked by Real Valladolid for the season 95/96 before he was transfer to Villareal where he scored his first goal in 10 years against Malaga by the end of 1994..
During his time playing in Spain he was always considered a B kind of player but at least he can say he played with Riquelme in Villareal for a couple of minutes...
Hope you will find this info useful, tomorrow BOCA is playing with San Lorenzo, which is always a hard game so keep your fingers crossed...
Anyways take care..
Cheers from Argentina..!

In answer to recent questions...
1. I have only had my hair cut once since leaving home. I had it chopped back in Buenos Aires in June. Apart from that I have just trimmed the fringe on a couple of occasions. I think the camera is deceiving well!
2. I will be back in Europe on 27th September but not home to England until 2nd October. I am stopping in Madrid to check out the city and watch Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Keep the questions coming...!!!

Glad to hear you are still alive and having fun! Any chance you might ever be comming back home to europe? Whenever i tell my friends about your progress they seem to think you are going to stay in south america forever. Well, I hope to see you soon!

Hi again Rich,
So you enjoyed the safari by the sounds of it and having viewed your latest pics the mining trip looked a blast!!!! (pardon the pun). What we really want to know is who is cutting your hair, since it seems to remain at a constant length throughout your travels???
Have a nice w/e. Bye for now. Pauly G.
