Today we went to the world heritage listed Blue Mountains about 90mins west of Sydney.
The views were truly amazing and had great waterfalls hanging just dropping of the edge of cliff faces so far down. Got loads of cool photos and it looks like were standing on the edge of the cliffs even though we aren't quite there!
THe main "attraction" at the blue mountains are the 3 sisters, which are basically 3 huge rocks sticking out of another cliff. The walks around the places were SO steep, steeper than anything we have done so far!
At the end of the day we walked down a track to the very bottom and paid $10 to get a train back up. This train goes up a track that is 52degrees steep. We thought after going on the tram in Hong Kong we could hack it but it was so much steeper than that one. One point it went in between 2 cliffs and we were in pitch blackness!! Scary stuff but well worth it!
Hope all is well as "britain prepares for the big freeze." Here it is 32 and up to 40+ by the end of the week!!! Much love xxxxxxx
