WOW SYDNEY!! What an amazing city, after we took the night bus down we arrived over the Harbour Bridge and had our first glimpse of the Opera House!!

After checking into the cheapest hostel since Cairns we headed straight for the Opera House, it is amazing and we walked around it, up it, on it, in it! (Hannah needed the toilet...what a surprise!) We walked around the Botanical Gardens which are very nice and got some amazing pics of us, the opera house and the harbour bridge. Neither of us can believe how far we have come!

Whilst here we took two day trips to Manly and the famous Bondi Beach!

Manly was very nice and after a ferry journey down the harbour we arrived to find a very nice little town and a nice beach with big surf!! We took a little walk round to a beach called shelly beach where they were no waves but was much quieter. It was so hot so we decided to take a dip in the water!! It was ICE cold, probably colder than your winter back home! Needless to say we didnt stay for too long! After a long walk around we had a nice steak at a pub! only $10!

Bondi Beach was also amazing! After taking the train and then the bus we found that the waves were HUGE and we had an awesome time swimming because the water was way warmer than Manly!! It wasnt too crowded as it was a weekday!! We took a nice but long coastal walk around and were lucky enough to see more wild Dolpins this time closer up!!

One night we took a walk down to the Darling Harbour and had a drink at the very expensive but nice bars down there overlooking a different harbour which was cool! We saw one of the boats pulling in, it was huge and expensive the whole side was made of glass so you could see in and out, but it crashed into the harbour and all the glass shattered was so loud!

We have booked our Ayers Rock tour and a trip down to Adelaide really looking forward to that although its gonna get even hotter!! Our final 2 days here are going to be relaxing during the day and meeting with friends in the evenings...should be good!

The city is really amazing both at night and during the day and there seems to be so much more to it that what we have seen, although we think we have seen so much!!

Hope everyone is managing with the weather back home we hear its pretty bad, to keep warm just think of us walking around at 9pm in shorts and t-shirts its that hot!!
