So here we are the second destination of our travels and finally we got ourselfs some fresh sea air... the area where were staying is great.. food is good an the bars are plentiful. we travelled down from bangkok by coach.. our lovely lady 'Sue' as she liked to call herself booked it all for us an sorted us 3 nights accomodation aswell for bout 40quid each... sounds good but we could have got a much better deal. were just greatful that it all went to plan... despite the fact that the 13hour coach journey down that we was dreading turned out to be a 21hour mission... now we know how the pilgrims feel!! but hey we got here... the room is really nice... t.v air con and a balcony overlooking the pool which is really nice but 500bhat to use so we refuse to out of principle.... much rather stand on the balcony sipping a beer flashing my bare arse to the holiday makers who paid for it!! the looks we got made it worth staying in our room.. an i guess the look they got made it worth going to the pool!!! hahaha... first day we just slept.. was knackered after sittin on our arses for 21 hours. we then headed into town to have a look around... such a lively place an full of ozzies.. defo a place they go on hol.. an found a nice restaraunt on the sea front where we had our first meal. .. with a legendary thai man an his guitar wacking out the classics...bit of lionel an for kev he did some bob dylan!!! the night was made that little bit better when we realised the rugby was on and what better place to watch it than a crowded ozzy bar! was all good fun an just topped of the night with a victory for england!!! the second day there wasn't much to report... went down the beach and the rain came out... so we headed back an sunk some beers on the balcony. day number 3 was all s***s and giggles.. rented a mo-ped and loved every minute well after dani stopped screaming in my ear ' aargghhhh' 'ooooooh' 'theres a corner!!' 'theres a car behind!!!' and my personal favourite ' use a low gear!!!' even thow we was on an automatic mo-ped ( she is sitting here saying it's only what the sign said) but the things we got to see just by travling round the island were great.. fantastic beaches with sand as soft as snow and the sceanery was amazing.... the following day 16th october also known as dani b-day... yayy... started of by opening some cards giving dani a pressie which was a ring and may i add still hasnt turned green so all is good... we kept the mo-ped on for another day an headed of to phuket riding club on the otherside of the island as this was cheaper than paying a taxi man an gave us a bit more freedom... but just as we was about 1/2 a mile away disater struck... duh duh duhhhh.. we got a puncture!! had no idea what to do.. forgot the number for the lady we rented off and was a bit stuck really.. but then we looked to the left an we realised we had rolled to a stop outside a mo-ped garage.. weren't sure how much this would cost but turned out to be 120bhat or bout 1.80 to you an me!! best bit of luck we had soo far.. an on the the horse riding we went... decided to go all out an get the full 2hour jungle an beach sesh.. was great fun maybe a litle to long an there idea of a jungle is very different to ours but was good fun.. think my horse was greatfull to get rid of me as its probly use to little thai people an most the time spent with its tounge hanging out .. haha.. later on we went to the next beach down to our for a lovely restaraunt where we had one of the best meal yet with music from the first ever thai elvis i have ever seen.. very good lol...and finished of the night in town gettin drunk an playing tradtional games at this bar till the early hours.... the morning after the night before was spent in bed! was meant to go to phi phi but couldn't bring ourselfs to go.. paid for another night an watched films all day (good films may i add so not a complete waste) that night we headed to town for a nice meal and then expirienced our first thai massage.. chose a place with people already in so we was sure that it wasn't some seedy brothel and lied down next to each other on the matts... before i knew it i had a little thai women climbing all over my back.. was so funny but tried not to laugh.. once you relax is really nice... and as im told by dani her back had never clicked like that before and was made a little bit funnier as there was a thai man next to me having an aromatheropy massage an he decided there was enuff aroma so he let out a massive fart...hahaha... anyways the following day we got the boat to Phi Phi and you will be filled in on this when we next get a chance. take care and speak t you all soon
