Hi guys we left Kuala Lumpar on a high and went thankfully on a better looking bus to Melaka a British owned city back in the early 1900's. We arrived 1pm, a 3hour journey from the capital. So...... down the winding roads we'd climbed up the day before in a cronky old bus, with a driver who didnt know how to blow his nose!!!!! Get to KL at 6pm after a 5hour journey. Penang was a eye-opener!!After arriving in Penang after a 10 hour journey by mini-van we checked into the Hing Pong Hotel in Chinatown. The hotel was ok at best but to Ria's satisfaction it had a duvet!!!! Silly as it sounds when you haven't slept in one for 4 weeks it's quite a luxury compared to a cloth blanket!!
