Today we got up and took the bus to the museum to have a look at the collection of south pacific and Maori artefacts they have there. It's one of the best collections in the southern hemisphere and includes a traditional Maori storage house and Marae and loads of cool carvings of terrifying looking dudes with their tongues hanging out! After this we headed back to the centre of town for some shopping - world cup memorabilia and some art work for the house! Then a quick stop off at 'the oldest pub in Auckland', the Queen's Ferry Inn before heading over to 'Viaduct harbour' for tea and rugby player spotting! We saw Burger and his team mate from Namibia and several England and former England players wandering about including, Moody, Crofts, Youngs and Vickery. We then caught the train back to Dazzler and Becky's for some more amazing hospitality and our last night in NZ. Ian is gutted to be leaving but we're excited to see what Australia has to bring!
