Quiet last day in Hanoi. Did managed to get another massage in - so 4 in a week. A bit indulgent but why not. Had lunch at the Kangaroo cafe and a pretty good burger. But expensive as western food can be but was good not to have rice for a change. Did a bit of shopping but not buying much as we don't want to carry too much yet as we have still got a long way to go. Need to be up early tomorrow for a 7am flight to Danang.

We planned to have a quiet day today as the previous day was so big on the tour. After breakfast we headed off to find the tour office for our Halong bay trip and from there to walk around the lake. Today we ended up on a full day tour which we thought was for a group but we were the only ones so we got a private car and driver and our own guide for the day. First flight leaving Gold Coast ended up being nearly an hour late so we were both getting pretty tired by the time we boarded at 10.30.
