Today was a traveling day, moving between Dunedin and Te Anau, a drive of about four hours. This meant a slow start to the day with time for two cups of tea.
Life in the camper van has settled into a pattern and we keep the double bed made up all the time. The weather has been so good that we have set up our table and chairs and had all meals outside. Although we can cook in the van and have a microwave the kitchens on the campsites have been so clean and well equipped that we have used these instead.
Space is tight but we have unpacked all that we need from our cases, stored Dave's backpack in my case and put that overhead onto the extra bed. Everything has its place so that we can find all we need easily. After 7 weeks on the road it was lovely to be able to unpack properly and know that we are settled for 5 weeks in the van.
Because the van is so small we have been able to access all the small untarmaced roads on our travels which has been a real bonus.
It will be interesting to see how many kilometres we do by the end of our trip, thank goodness all mileage is included.

Rich Hi both, don't know if you are going near Queenstown (well you probably are as there are not many roads) you have got to try the Shotover Jet boat ride - Beats Alton Towers hands down xxx
