After getting back to Airlie Beach after our Whitsundays trip we decided to go straight out for a walk around (now that it wasn't raining here). As we were just about to cross over the road back to our hostel, a car suddenly slowed and stopped in front of us and it just happened to be Lubo, Dan and Tanny from our Frazer Island trip! We arrived at Airlie Beach... To rain! It was a really nice area, so it was a shame we didn't get to spend more time there. We stayed here for a night as it is considered the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands, and we were spending 3 days at the Whitsundays. Arrived into Brisbane on 21st March. Didn't have much time here as we arrived late evening but we managed to have a little wander around. In the morning we got a bus up to Hervey Bay for another stopover before getting a super early morning ferry over to Frazer Island, where we spent the next three days.
