After a few days in Sydney, we said we would head on up the country a bit to check out the town where Home and Away is filmed, called... no not Summer Bay, its called Palm Beach. We found the beach, after a short while (its not sign posted). Parked the car, for the princely sum of 4 dollars and hour, and took a walk down the beach. I asked a guy loading up his van (with kites not cameras), if it was the right place and he said you have to get there very early and people even camp out to catch glimpses of Alf and the gang in action. Regina insisted on taking photos of every square inch of the place, even though it didnt look too familiar (except the paths to the beach). On the other side of the beach, there is a small inlet or lake and there is a restaurant that since watching home and away on tv here now looks like it is famililar, if that makes sense. It didnt look familiar at the time but does now..... that makes more sense. Anyway, that was the diner.

That was about it, I guess it had to be done when in the area and all that, and it was only about an hours drive or so from Sydney. After that it was off to the Blue Mountains and then back to Sydney for another day....
