Colleen & Tom's Explorations
Great night's sleep last night - best so far. Woke up to the most amazing views - rounding Cape Horn and coming along to an island whist waiting for clearance to enter Chilean waters. Then we continued on our journey past the southernmost islands. As we rounded Horn Island our ship gave many long blasts on the horn, indicating that part of the ship was in the Pacific Ocean and part was still in the Atlantic Ocean. The scenery was so beautiful and so isolated. Untouched by man. We then went upstairs to the lido for a late breakfast. Some of the Aussies on board are insensitive and cringeworthy. I was thinking of going to the Windows 8 basics class, but my desktop and laptop computers are not going to be renewed anytime soon so probably no point! Checked the laundry - still closed. Ran into Ron (one of our Bunnikins) - he's really crook with a head cold. Then returned to our room to do a bathtub of washing!!! The rest of the day was spent relaxing, helping Tom get over his cold which seems to have freshened up.
