Randy & Marilyn's Retirement Travels
Today we did a Barossa Valley vineyard tour. It was a fabulous day with a small group of 10 people and absolutely beautiful weather. It was in the upper 70's and not a cloud in the sky. We were with some very fun Canadians and some of the wineries were very generous with the tasting....so by noon we were toasting like we have been friends for years. We visited 4 wineries and had a great regional lunch.
The city of Adelaide is a beautiful city with lots of parks and flowers. Outside of Adelaide there are lots of small, very quaint towns with German heritage.
We are tracking what is happening in New Zealand and it sounds like Christchurch is pretty devastated. We'll continue to follow the news to see what happens with the airport.

Sheila I am so happy to hear you are having such a great trip! Reading through your blog brings back great memories of my own trip there - I remember how chatty the cockatoos were! Thanks so much for doing this blog - I love reading the details of your trip and hearing about all the different places you're experiencing - great information for me to have so I can share it with other clients who may be interested in visiting Australia sometime. I look forward to reading more (wish I was there with you!).
