Kho Lanta was really nice and relaxing, there wass nothing to do, so we did nothing at all really. We spent the days there playing pool and drinking water, because it was really hot and thinking about what to eat for dinner. We normally ended up having an early dinner, as we had nothing else to do, except one night when we waited for about 7 hours, for a pizza in a restaurant which was nearly empty! However, Dan and I created our own pizza and had beef, salami and nuts! trust me amazing!! There were some really nice bars and restaurants along the beach where we were staying, all quirky and different to one another. Although I don't think Alice noticed because she was to excited by the discovery of hermit crabs (the gypsies of sea life) simple little veggie. We are now back on mainland Thailand, waiting for a train to Malaysia, where we are going to George town, which looks pretty cool.

So this is the last entry for Thailand for a few months i must admit not what i thought it would be. To start Bangkok was not as busy and vibrant as i thought it would be and we were staying in the busiest part at a very busy time of year but we were all like 'really this is busy??' Having said that it didnt make it any worse it was better than i thought it was going to be and all the people there are really nice and friendly even though they probably just want your money! down south the islands are amazing but not for the beautiful beaches and crystal clear water more for the lay of the land and the dramatic landscape which is almost intimidating when you look at it from a little boat. at the beach huts i sort of imagined jack johnson to be staying next to us and some group of rich, posh, dread locked new age hippies to be "finding themselves" round a campfire singing Newton Faulkner. But instead we had loads of Germans and families including two fat lesbians which kept us guessing till the very end when we heard them speak as one looked very manly! All in all as i said not at all how i expected but still an amazing place and i cant wait to return!
