After a hell of a lot of travelling, we've finally stood still long enough to update you lot on our adventures, so will back track a couple of days. We arrived in Singapore at about 4pm, having not booked any accommodation - you'd think we'd learn!! Hopeful it would be easy enough to find somewhere, we headed off to China town in search of a bed. After eventually finding the right area and having had no luck with accommodation, we found an internet cafe to search for possible places. Everyone seemed to suggest little India, so we eventually flagged down a cab - apparently this is not the done thing in Singapore, nor is it to haggle the price as its on the meter! But we made it to little India, where we were pretty lucky in finding a place straight away. We dumped our stuff and did the usual - found somewhere to have a beer. We sat and had a couple, but slightly concerned by Dave's sudden generosity, we had to remind him we were drinking bottles, which converted to about £3 a bottle- more than we'd pay in England. Shocked by this Dave requested we move on. We found ourselves somewhere to eat, but soon ended up back at that same bar. This time I changed to jam jars which are a girls only drink and cost much less, much to the boys disappointment. They were bright pink tho which I think made the boys feel a bit better! Pretty damn tired from the days travelling and Dan was feeling a bit sorry for himself, having managed to catch the only cold in the whole of Asia, we headed off for an early night, knowing we would have to be up at stupid o'clock to get our flight. - So we didnt really see much of Singapore and didnt get the chance to go to ruffles!!
