After a couple of months of unsuccessful job-hunting in the UK, we decided to try our luck in France. Julien was very fortunate, finding a job quickly and starting in March. It took me longer, but we're pleased to say that we're now both in permanent employment and have found a lovely (if small) flat in a nice part of the city. We're hoping our location will bring us lots of visitors - no, it's your wit and charisma we hear you shout... whatever, we'd love to see...

Well we finally made it back home to a warm welcome despite the weather! We're staying at Andrea's parents' in Thirsk, North Yorkshire for the moment and don't have a car yet, so it might be a while before we can organise a reunion. Well guys, we´ve made it to Brasil. Our final destination. Sob, sob... Iguazu Falls were amazing. Both the Argentinian and Brasilian sides were beautiful and really impressive. Got a good soaking going through the spray in a speed boat. We arrived in Rio yesterday and spent today relaxing on Ipanema beach. Not long now before we can talk to you all again. Just arrived in Mendoza, muy cansados after an overnight bus ride from Buenos Aires where we had a really good time. Hoping to do some wine-tasting here and get out into the countyside a bit if it stays nice and sunny.

Hello from Buenos Aires, home to tango and the biggest steaks we`ve ever seen! Julien is still to be defeated, but he`s had to waddle back to the hotel a few times for a siesta. We`ve loved exploring the different areas of the city, all of which have their own distinctive character.
