Hello from darkest Peru! We´ve had a great time in Cusco. We spent another week studying Spanish and staying with a lovely family. Now we`re on the Sacred Valley trail, visiting lots of Inca sites (too many ruins according to Julien!) The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking, as is the altitude... Well we arrived safely in Peru at last. Visited Trujillo in the north, then got an overnight bus to Lima. We´re having a couple of days here before heading to Cusco. We were feeling very lazy yesterday after our overnight journey, so we did a 3 hour bus tour of Lima. Hopefully today we might manage a bit more. We´ll add the photos of Columbia and Ecuador when we get to Cusco. I know certain people are getting impatient!

Time to say goodbye to Ecuador. We`ve really had a fantastic time here. There`s just so much to do and such variety. We`ve finally got around to uploading our Central American photos, so we hope you enjoy looking at them. We`re heading to Peru tonight and will be spending most of the next couple of days travelling, but will write again once we`re settled. Hope the sun`s shining in Europe too. Bye for now. A&J xxx

Hello everyone! We´re having an amazing time in the Galapagos Islands. We really blew the budget this time, but it was worth every penny. We´ve just finished an 8 day cruise, visiting lots of different islands. We swam with sealions, who were really playful and inquisitive; with huge green sea turtles; and with really cute Galapagos penguins. (Even Julien thought they were really cute!) Well we didn't tell anyone in advance, as we didn't want our parents to worry, but we've just had the most amazing time in Colombia. We spent it all in Cartagena, as we hadn't planned to include Colombia in our trip, but we heard such good reports from other travellers we decided at the last minute to check it out.
