Hola Amigos!

We´ve just had a week at the beach (three different beaches to be precise). We started in Cancun, which was a bit too 'Disney' but just has to be experienced. Then we moved south to Playa del Carmen, which again is very touristy, but the water is beautiful and the beach is a broad band of fine white sand. We got the ferry over to the island of Cozumel which is famous for its snorkeling and diving. We rented bikes and snorkeling equipment and set off in search of the best spots. We weren't disappointed - we saw loads of fish and the water was cristal clear. After that we headed further south to Tulum where the mixture of white sandy beach, plam trees and Mayan ruins overlooking the turquoise sea make it a perfect spot to relax. We found a thatched bunglow right on the beach and that was all we needed for a couple of days. Now we´re headding inland to visit more Mayan sites.
